Q: When are you open?

From the 1st November - 1st March the fishery is open Saturday-Sunday ONLY 07:30 - 19:30.

Q: Where do I purchase my ticket if the tackle shop is closed?

If the shop is closed you can start fishing immediately. A bailiff will issue a ticket on the bank during their rounds.

Q: Can I hire equipment?

Unfortunately we do not offer any hire services, all anglers must possess their own equipment

Q: Do I need to book?

There's no need to book, simply turn up on the day and purchase your ticket from the tackle shop or on the bank.

Q: Which bait is best?

This answer really depends on the day and the lake, for the specimen carp lakes we recommend pop-up rigs and boilie loose feed. Currently Urban Bait Nutcracker and Mainline Cell are producing good results. For the Match lake and we suggest maggots, worms and pellets. For the Barrow lake (Catfish) we recommend lobworms on a poly-ball.

Q: Will there be swims available at the weekend?

With five lakes to choose from there is always a swim available. Generally the Match and S lake are our most popular lakes but generally they are only full over Bank Holiday weekends.

Q: Where is your entrance?

The main entrance is discretely located beside the house on top of the hill.  Drive up the concrete ramp and the entrance is on the right hand side beside the willow tree.

Q: The shop is closed but should be open according to your opening hours?

If the shop is closed during opening hours the bailiff is doing the rounds. This normally takes a maximum of 20 minutes. If you require immediate assistance please feel free to phone the bailiff mobile (07575856445).

Q: What should I do with my rubbish?

We provide in excess of 10 large oil drum bins across the complex. Please be courteous to other anglers and wildlife by using them!

Q: I've witnessed suspicious behaviour/poachers/disruptive visitors - who should I contact?

Should you have any problems contact the bailiff mobile immediately (07575856445). Should you feel it necessary to contact emergency services phone 999 or 101 (Non- Emergency Police).
