Picks Cottage Fishery Ltd is looking to recruit a part-time Shop Assistant to work at our Tackle Shop until the 1st November 2020. This is a temporary position due to the seasonal nature of our business. We will accept applications until the 9th August 2020. Interviews will be held with suitable applicants from the 12th - 14th August with an estimated start date on the 19th August.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The sale of fishing tickets, bait/tackle and refreshments from the tackle shop
• Handling cash and processing card payments
• Answering phone and email enquiries
• Opening/Closing Shop
• Pricing stock and stocking shelves
• Stock taking
• Working independently 
• Checking tickets of anglers on the lakes and ensuring rules are maintained
• Litter collecting
• Ensuring toilets are maintained to a sanitary standard
• Ensuring Tackle Shop area is kept clean and well presented
• Opening gates in morning/evening
